Dan Marino founded Lavallette Capital in 2009 after a career in investment banking.  Lavallette transitioned to private lending in 2010, providing acquisition and renovation financing to the New Jersey real estate investor community.

Prior to forming Lavallette, Dan was a Senior Vice President with the Asset Securitization Group of DZ Bank in New York. Dan was responsible for transaction origination and account relationships for specialty finance clients in a number of asset classes, including equipment leasing, life settlements, and auto finance.

After graduating from University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business in 1992, Dan began his career with Coopers & Lybrand and also served in a variety of capacities with Deloitte & Touche and ContiFinancial Corp.
